- Alison North
Founded the original company in 1986 under the name AIS. Became Managing Director of FileBusters Ltd in 1995, bought out Document Law Ltd in 2007, became CEO of The Genuine Group in 2008 Alison gained extensive international experience in senior information and records management roles between 1978 and 1986. She left Conoco in April 1986 when she set up AIS as an independent records management consultancy. Alison’s business skills and commercial expertise make her well placed to lead the organisation as it delivers on its commitments to its local and international clients and its colleagues in the RM industry.

Trustee of The Friends of Charing Cross Hospital Treasurer of the Records Management Society of Great Britain.
- Darren Fayker
Joined AIS in 1991 as a consultant working alongside Alison on many local and international projects. In 1995 he became a director of FileBusters Ltd and when FileBusters became part of the Genuine Group in 2008 he moved over to become Project Director for the Genuine Group. Has extensive experience in developing and implementing records management programmes across many different industries. He is responsible for the continuing development of our REGAL software.
- Hayley Shanahan
Joined FileBusters in 2002 as a document supervisor and became operations manager in 2004. In 2008 she became Operations Director of the FileBusters Division of the Genuine Group. Hayley runs our sub-office in Hampshire and is responsible for the management of our long-term contracts and customer relations.
- Yakubu Bayi
Joined Document Law Ltd in 2006 and was appointed Legal / Research Director. When Document Law became part of the Genuine Group in 2008, Yaks came too.
Graduated with a degree in Law and a Masters in Maritime & Commercial Law from Cardiff University, specialising in international Banking and Insurance. As a student, Yaks worked with FileBusters during his vacations and became interested in the legal aspects of records management. He now heads up the Document Law Research division of the company with responsibility to deliver all the legislative and regulatory citations that form the bedrock of the REGAL database.
